Aya has been working in the arts education field for the last 17 years. She brings her passion for teaching, dance and movement to RSC Westchester through her fun and inspiring classes and workshops. Helping individuals reach their potential through patience, consistency and creative learning strategies.

She trained formally at The London Contemporary Dance School gaining her Bachelor’s degree in Dance and has a vast experience in dance styles ranging from contemporary, jazz, tap, physical theater, and African. Additionally, she has completed the Dance Education Laboratory (DEL), Dance for students with Special Needs training, PPTLS level 4 teaching adults, CYQ certificate in exercise and disability and Yoga, Pilates certifications. Aya believes dance education should be accessible to all and is an invaluable tool that promotes understanding and compassion to others, whilst celebrating culture, diversity and inclusion.

Alongside her work with RSC Aya is a freelance performer, dance educator and choreographer.
