Marissa is a former athlete and head college coach, trained in working with individuals with special needs, children, and adults. She is currently working towards her Mental Health counseling degree and pursuing licensure to become a Mental Health Counselor.
During her time with RSC she has developed her skills working with special populations and grown as a recreational coach as well as a counselor in the field. Marrissa brings her passion, energy and discipline to RSC classes. She loves teaching fitness and sports because it brings out a whole different side of people. She believes sports help to create a culture and environment that is open for everyone, teaching us competition, sportsmanship and relationship building. ‘Watching individuals practice and succeed makes teaching and coaching all worth it.’
